你不’t have to “tough it out” or handle it 您rself when 出事了 in 您r 治疗—tell 您r doctor.

I’ve been 治疗中 for almost two decades now and what I can honestly say is that sometimes 出事了。有时候错了 药物 is selected, sometimes 您 get a really weird 副作用,有时您不能忍受药物-事情刚发生,事情就出问题了。

The mistake a lot of people make when something goes wrong 治疗中, is that they try to handle it themselves. If, for example, they get 失眠 as a 副作用, they try to handle it themselves. Maybe they try to handle it with over-the-counter 药物, maybe they just try to 坚决.

Whatever goes wrong for 您, whether it’s a 副作用 or some weird, unexpected thing, 您 need to tell 您r doctor about it and 您 need to do that first.

“Toughing it out” sometimes might seem like the right idea to show that 您’re strong, to show that 您’re not a problematic patient, all the kind of stuff, but that isn’t the right idea.

The right idea is to go to 您r doctor, report whatever has been happening for 您, and let him suggest a 治疗 alteration that’s going to address whatever is happening for 您. If something does go wrong 治疗中, contact 您r doctor, don’t try to handle it 您rself.

  1. I learned years ago that this is journey is not one 您 take on 您r own. If something is off GET HELP!

  2. Dealing presently with a 治疗 gone wrong episode (crap, the antidepressant pushes me into a mixed episode), I can say this vid is right on the money. Especially about calling 您r doctor first. (Which I did.)

Actually, 您 made my exact point. The doctor said 您 can do that following a good “treatment plan.” 存在“in 治疗” doesn’t mean 您 are in an acute episode, it means 您 are being treated —也许非常成功— for an illness.

一世’m sorry 您 don’t find it that way.

Thank 您 for 您r comment. That is my view as well. There are many negative aspects to bipolar but I do always end with hope as I believe hope is real for all of us.

      Thank 您 for 您r support.
